For a massive 1000 PortPoints we asked members to write a funny story about where the bingo call “Two Fat Ladies - 88″ came from. Thank you to everyone who wrote in with their stories, we had some great responses. Here are some good ones we though we could share:

I’d just like to tell you about my number 22. It is the most unluckiest number I have ever had. I never won at bingo with it and also when I lived in a house with that number all I had was bad luck. I was broken into twice and you would not believe what the thieves took. The first time they took a land line phone and the next time they stole the kettle. I think they must have been setting up house somewhere, I hope they will be happy!
Also at that house we had 2 fires, one was my fault as I left the chip pan on and forgot all about it. I was lucky my friend came round and we managed to put it out but the second was my lovely kids. I had just had a new single bed delivered and was downstairs talking to the delivering man when they came running down screaming! They had been playing with a lighter and the wrap on the new bed set alight but, we put it out as you might imagine.
I moved house after that and have been a lot happier in my new home number 82. Now you know why I don’t like the number 22. oh I nearly forgot to tell you about the floor falling through in the bathroom it was an extension so it was on stilts. I had just got out the bath when I put my foot strait through it. The hole was about as big as a dustbin lid and I could see the dog playing in the back garden! Well that’s all for now, please stay away from houses with the number 22!
